Guidelines for maintaining dental health

1. Consume foods rich in calcium.
- Good sources of calcium include milk, dairy products, anchovies, dried pollock, whole fish with bones, tofu, seaweed, and calcium-fortified foods. These foods should be consumed regularly.
2. Consume foods high in fiber such as grains, vegetables, and fruits, as well as fish, lean meats, tofu, and legumes, which are sources of high-quality protein.
Reduce the intake of excessive sugars, processed foods, and carbonated beverages.
- Be especially careful when consuming sticky foods such as taffy, caramel, castella, ramen, and injeolmi, and when eating sweet foods, do so during meal times. After eating, be sure to brush your teeth.
Avoid excessive consumption of hard foods.
5. Avoid excessive drinking and quit smoking.
Consume an appropriate amount of fluoride.
Consume fluoride through fluoridated beverages, mackerel, green tea, sardines, and sea salt, and use fluoride-containing toothpaste.
