충치도 없이 30년 넘게 살아서 정말 저는 치아는 건강하게 태어났다 생각했는데... 나이드니 나빠지기 시작하네요... 치아건강 진짜 중요해요;;;
(Helpful tip) #Let's protect our dental health
In old sayings, having healthy teeth and gums is considered one of the blessings, isn't it?
My teeth are evenly aligned and show well when I smile, so people often tell me that I have beautiful teeth.
But since it decays easily, if I neglect even a little bit of care, cavities develop quickly.
So today, I would like to introduce some tips I practice for dental health.
- Avoid drinking carbonated beverages
- Using an oral irrigator
- Using dental floss
- Using mouthwash
- Use a soft toothbrush.
First, avoid drinking carbonated beverages
Sugars and carbon dioxide in carbonated drinks are said to accelerate tooth erosion.
Based on a 1.5L bottle of cola, it contains 108g of sugar, and the carbonation increases the acidity in the mouth, damaging the teeth.
Typically, enamel demineralization begins at a pH below 5.5, and carbonated drinks are strongly acidic with a pH of 2.5 to 3.7.
When you absolutely must drink
- Drink through a straw to avoid contact with the surface of the teeth: the longer the contact remains on the teeth, the longer the erosion time.
- Mixing with water or ice: because it neutralizes sugar and acidity.
- Not brushing immediately: Acidic substances remain on the teeth, increasing the extent of tooth wear caused by brushing.
- Replace carbonated drinks with sparkling water: Find an alternative if you can't give up the tingling sensation
So, when I want to drink soda, I try to drink sparkling water instead.
Second, use the oral irrigator
I use an oral irrigator when I brush my teeth before bed.
It seems to be effective for removing food particles and plaque stuck between teeth, and I also like that it helps with gum massage.
Certainly, when using it on the molar side that the toothbrush doesn't reach, there are often cases where debris comes out.
So I do it in the evening and sleep soundly. Haha
I think it will be especially very useful for people with malocclusion or those who have had braces.
Third, use dental floss
Dental floss is used after brushing your teeth outside, and it's good for removing food particles that haven't come out after brushing, so I carry it with me.
It's small in size, so it's easy to carry around, right?
❤️ How to use dental floss
Using a toothpick will cause your teeth to spread apartㅠ.ㅠ
Fourth, use mouthwash
- Strong tooth care with an 18% higher fluoride absorption rate
- 7 times stronger cavity prevention compared to toothpaste
- Suppresses 99.9% of bacteria even in areas where the toothbrush does not reach
- Five times more effective than dental floss in plaque suppression
Because of these advantages, oral rinses (like the well-known Listerine and Crest) seem to be indispensable.
Fifth, use a soft-bristled toothbrush
You all know that soft fine toothbrush bristles are good for your gums, right?
For gum health, it is better to use soft fine bristles rather than stiff ones!
