Lately, I’ve been feeling pain whether I grind my teeth or clench my jaw tightly while sleeping. Since I don’t hear any grinding sounds, I guess I might be biting down hard while sleeping. It’s been a long time since I had orthodontic treatment, so I don’t think it’s related to malocclusion or temporomandibular joint issues, but could the recent gum problems be affecting this?
Recently, someone told me that I snore a lot while sleeping, and I wonder if this could also be a contributing factor.
