에고 너무 고생하셨네요... 그래도 치과에서도 교정 전문 치과를 찾아서 가보시는게 나을거 같아요
It seems like about 8 years have passed.
Every day was a hellish time, to the point of wanting to die...
The tooth that was being bridged was throbbing, so I removed it and replaced it, but I kept my mouth open for too long during treatment, causing my jaw to shift backward and develop temporomandibular joint disorder.
After the bridge treatment, I couldn't eat or sleep for five days, and I lost 6kg in an instant, eventually developing depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, which led me to receive psychiatric and neurological treatment.
I didn't realize that the temporomandibular joint was so important~
At first, I couldn't pronounce it properly, so I thought the anesthesia hadn't worn off completely.
I couldn't even chew food, and when I lay down, my jaw was strangely dislocated, so I couldn't sleep lying down... I was crying every day.
Fortunately, I went to another TMJ specialist dentist to get a splint made, and now I experience a lot of jaw pain and difficulty speaking, so I wear the splint and go about my daily life whenever that happens.
However, recently my jaw seems to have shifted again, and my bite keeps not aligning properly.
It seems that the canines are already worn down, causing the bite to become more misaligned.
However... the temporomandibular joint dental clinic I used to go to has now closed down, so I can't receive treatment anymore.
I'm now 고민이예요 about which dental clinic to go to.
Are there any others like me who have temporomandibular joint disorder?
How are you being treated?
Is there another treatment method besides splints to correct the alignment of the teeth?
Now, I'm afraid to go to the dentist because I might develop another jaw problem while receiving treatment with my mouth open.
