This is a review of the treatment I received for cervical abrasion due to tooth root wear at Seon Dental Clinic in Daejeon.

I don't know when it started, but even when I drink cold water, my teeth

It was cold and a little uncomfortable.

I didn't think much of it because my teeth tend to be sensitive even when I'm under the influence, but I found out that I get sensitive symptoms even when drinking hot water.

Then, starting one day, I don't know  When brushing teeth I visited Seon Dental Hospital in Daejeon because the area between my gums and teeth was sensitive, making it difficult to brush my teeth.

Since it involved the procedure, I got quotes and consultations from several places. Although the price was higher, I chose Daejeon Seon Dental Hospital because I prioritized aftercare and the surgical procedure, and I am still using their services well.

 

I made an appointment right away and visited the next day. It turned out that the area between my teeth was severely worn down, causing sensitivity. Upon examining my teeth, I found that the upper and lower sections on both sides were heavily worn. Because of this, those areas were painful and aching whenever I used cold or hot water, or even when brushing, making it difficult to clean.

 

You said that for the worn areas of the teeth, we can create a protective layer by filling the worn parts with resin.

 

I received a consultation right away, and they explained the non-insured resin and the insured options so I could fill in the worn-out parts of my teeth.

It is weaker than resin, so there is a relatively higher chance of it wearing down or falling off, but the advantage was that it was affordable due to insurance.

 

✔️ Resin is a finishing material that perfectly matches the color of high-quality solid wood. By combining various colors, it can reproduce the original tooth color almost exactly, making it virtually invisible. The material itself is hard and adheres strongly to the teeth, so it does not fall off easily and lasts a long time; however, the downside was the cost as it is not covered by insurance.

 

✔️I chose a long-lasting resin and attached it to the worn part of my tooth, and it has lasted for over 2 years.  I have been using it well so far.

I paid 80,000 won for each.

 

This is what I tried to do to prevent my teeth from wearing down.

 

✔️I use a soft toothbrush and brush gently, sweeping from the gums toward the teeth without applying too much force.

After consuming acidic foods, rather than brushing immediately, I rinse my mouth with water to neutralize the acidity and then brush my teeth after about 30 minutes.

I usually try to eat hard or chewy foods in small amounts and only occasionally.
