Hello. I'm writing this because I'm concerned about the constant pain in my gums after brushing my teeth. I don't think I brush particularly hard, but my gums feel sore and tingly after brushing. They don't bleed, but they feel more sensitive, and it makes eating a little uncomfortable. I'm using a regular-bristle toothbrush and brushing my teeth two to three times a day.
Could it be that my toothbrush bristles are too hard? Or could it be an early sign of gingivitis? I'm wondering if I need to see a dentist right away, or if changing my toothbrush or adjusting my brushing technique will help.
