On the 4th, a video titled "A restaurant with really delicious salt bread, you should stop by!" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Kang Suzy TV Living, Loving, and Learning." In the video, Kang Suzy visits a bakery she often visits. She said, "I wasn't really a fan of salt bread," and "But when I tried the salt bread here, it was so chewy and not the salt bread I expected."

 

She continued, "I have a weak stomach, so I usually buy bread with natural yeast in it, and this one has natural yeast in it too." She added, "I was happy to see that it had natural yeast in it, and it was delicious." Afterwards, Kang Suzy was seen eating salt bread and exclaiming, "It's delicious." Is it okay for Kang Suzy to eat a lot of salt bread, which she's recently taken a liking to?

Salt bread is a bread made by adding butter and salt to the dough. The rich flavor of the butter and the salty flavor of the salt combine to create a unique, addictive flavor. 

 

However, since it's literally made with "salt" as its main ingredient, excessive consumption is advised. A typical recipe for salt bread (4-6 pieces) contains approximately 5 grams of salt. While this varies depending on the product and type, 5 grams of salt typically contains around 2,000 milligrams of sodium. This is in line with the World Health Organization's (WHO) recommended daily sodium intake.

 

Eating just one salt bread doesn't necessarily mean you'll exceed the recommended intake. The problem is that eating multiple salt breads as a meal replacement or eating other foods throughout the day can easily lead to exceeding the recommended intake. High sodium intake increases blood volume and blood vessel pressure, which can lead to high blood pressure. It also increases inflammation levels in the body. Increased inflammation spreads throughout the body through the bloodstream, interfering with insulin action and increasing the risk of metabolic diseases like diabetes. Therefore, rather than blindly indulging in something delicious, it's better to exercise moderation.

 

Meanwhile, the naturally fermented bread Kang Su-ji eats uses minimal or no additives like butter or sugar. The natural yeast used in naturally fermented bread converts gluten in wheat flour into biotin, making it safe for those with digestive issues. The fermentation source for natural yeast is sweet grains, fruits, and vegetables.

    제가 엄청 빵돌이인데 소금빵은.. 기름지고 짜고 ...따뜻할때 먹으면 엄청 고소하다고 하지만맛있다는 소금빵 선물받아서 먹기도 해보고했는데 저는 좀 아니더라구요...
