제가 요즘 식욕폭발인데 한번 시도해봐야겠네요
Controlling your appetite isn't easy. Especially in the fall, when appetites are at their peak, you feel a surge of cravings and cravings. Let's learn how to control your appetite.
◇When body temperature drops, appetite increases. In autumn, body temperature suddenly drops, weakening the stimulation of the satiety center. The heat generated by eating food stimulates the satiety center, which suppresses appetite. However, a sudden drop in body temperature takes longer to reach the temperature necessary for the satiety center to be stimulated. Therefore, eating indoors or wearing clothes to raise body temperature moderately can stimulate the satiety center, making it easier to feel full. Cool weather naturally increases activity levels due to outdoor activities. This may be due to increased appetite to replenish energy.
Autumn depression, caused by a lack of sunlight, can also lead to an increase in appetite. Autumn depression presents with different symptoms than typical depression, such as loss of appetite or insomnia. Common symptoms include weight gain due to binge eating, excessive sleeping, and lethargy. Those at risk include those with a history of seasonal affective disorder, a family history of the condition, and alcoholics. It is known to be more prevalent in women than in men.
◇Stretch your tongue often If you're struggling with a persistent appetite, try "tongue stretching." Tongue stretching literally involves moving your tongue around in your mouth. This exercise shifts your focus on food and shifts it to other behaviors. It's considered a form of behavior modification therapy. Regularly moving your tongue stimulates the vagus nerve, which controls eating and digestion, helping control appetite. It also promotes saliva production. To do this, repeat the motion of stretching, curling, and then releasing your tongue. Try to feel as if you're scanning every nook and cranny of your mouth, or gently nibble on your tongue with your teeth.
Gently tapping or massaging your forehead or temples can also suppress your appetite. This is because it stimulates the frontal lobe, which controls impulses, and promotes the release of serotonin, a neurotransmitter often called the "happiness hormone." Serotonin also has an appetite-suppressing effect. In fact, a study by Dr. Richard Weil of Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital in the United States found that forehead tapping effectively suppressed appetite in morbidly obese adults.
◇You must wait at least 20 minutes before eating To control your appetite, it's best to eat longer. Our bodies produce a hormone called leptin, which makes us feel full. Leptin is not secreted until about 20 minutes after food enters the stomach. In other words, if you finish your meal within 20 minutes, leptin production will be insufficient, preventing you from feeling full, which can lead to overeating.
