Reactive oxygen species are essential for the body. Reactive oxygen species are unstable, highly reactive, and particularly sensitive to stress, pathogens, and ultraviolet rays.

Research has shown that reactive oxygen species can suppress diabetes and alleviate degenerative arthritis. Reactive oxygen species produced through exercise also strengthen the body's immune system. They act as a kind of signaling molecule, performing beneficial functions for health. When blood sugar levels rise, signals are sent to 'regulate insulin' and 'secrete hormones that suppress appetite,' and during exercise, signals are sent to 'repair torn cells.'

 

However, the optimal amount of reactive oxygen species has not yet been determined. It is possible to estimate an excess of reactive oxygen species in the body through one's condition.
