A review of herpes diagnosis for mouth blisters thought to be due to fatigue
Recently, the branch has been extremely busy, and I have been on a business trip, repeating a routine of going to work at 7:30 a.m. and leaving between 10 p.m. and midnight for about ten days. I was so tired physically and mentally. Then, one day, I developed blisters around my mouth... I thought it was nothing serious, but when I visited the hospital to get an IV, I was told that this is a disease called herpes.
It might be a slightly exaggerated photo... but I wasn't quite to that extent.
When I look in the mirror in the morning, I see something around my mouth... Ugh... I feel like I've been tired lately.
It roughly comes up near the lips with a little bump. I had no idea for the first time in my life that this is a disease called herpes.
I had come up once or twice during middle school and high school, but I was too tired to wash properly, maybe because I was sweating... I thought it was because I wasn't sleeping enough, but wow, it turned out to be herpes, haha...
With a very serious expression, teacher... So, is this a curable disease? When I asked what it was.
Herpes Type 1 is said to be a chronic condition.
It is a disease that 60-70% of people worldwide have. Unlike herpes type 2, which is recognized as an STD, it can be transmitted just by saliva or kissing on the lips. In fact, it is said that you can even get it from sharing the same spoon for stew.
Yeah, it was quite shocking.
Honestly in Korea... before COVID, we used to gather around large stews and eat with spoons.
In the meantime, it could be that you contracted herpes.
Fortunately, I was prescribed ointment, so I applied it, and after a few days of working late, it quickly subsided.
Next time it appears, I will reapply the ointment you prescribed for herpes... It's so exhausting... Sigh... I think I just have to let it go, haha.
If similar symptoms appear again, it could be herpes, so how about visiting a hospital once?
