Chocolate is a food high in fat, so it is not suitable as a snack for hypoglycemia.

For the same reason, I do not recommend bread either.

Fruits high in fiber that are not quickly absorbed are also not suitable as snacks for low blood sugar management.

Snacks for hypoglycemia should absolutely contain foods with a high simple sugar content.

That's why you can quickly raise your blood sugar levels.

 


When symptoms of hypoglycemia appear, measure your blood sugar, and if it is below 70 mg/dL, the rule is to consume 15 grams of carbohydrates.

Foods that can supplement 15g of carbohydrates include 4 to 5 sugar cubes or 3 to 5 candies.

It corresponds to about one spoonful of honey, or half a glass of juice or cola.

 

There is no need to eat this much.

On the contrary, it causes blood sugar levels to spike, increasing the risk of hyperglycemia later on.

    초콜릿 당연히 안 될 것 같긴 해요. 몸에 안 좋은 음식들은 전부 다 맛있는 거라 아쉽네요. 음식은 건강과 직결 되어 있어서 참 가릴 게 많은 것 같아요. 어렵습니다. 관리는 쉬운 게 아니네요. 식단을 잘 짜야 겠어요.
