While it is good to consume regular mushrooms, dried shiitake mushrooms contain a higher amount of vitamin D, making them the first food to be consumed for vitamin D supplementation. They are also being consumed to improve hyperparathyroidism.

 

2. Egg yolk

 

It is known that a single egg yolk consumed to improve hyperparathyroidism contains as much as 40 to 501 IU or more of vitamin D, and it is one of the most easily accessible food ingredients available in the market.
