저도 갑산성저하증인데 부종은 없고 정상 수치지만 여전히 약은 계속 복욕중이에요 저하증은 거의 대부분이 평생 약을 먹어야한다고 하네요
Is there a possibility of curing hypothyroidism? I am still taking medication.
Before marriage, I was healthy and attended school and work without missing a single day or leaving early.
Then I got married, had a first child, and during the holidays I was working at my in-laws' house when my mother said my neck was swollen and told me to go to the hospital.
It was from that time that I realized I would be living with hypothyroidism all the way up to now.
They are continuing to take the medication.
This disease is simply the worst, causing easy fatigue, lack of motivation, and continuous weight gain compared to others.
The opposite condition is hyperthyroidism. This disease causes rapid weight loss (2 to 30 kg), and I heard it's actually more dangerous.
When you have hypothyroidism, you gain more weight even when you're really sick, and eating becomes a hassle, but the weight keeps increasing.
You don't exercise... That's not it either.
Yoga, fitness, swimming, pilates, walking 10,000 steps daily... The doctor even said that exercise is currently enough and advised against doing more (I asked if I should exercise more because I keep gaining weight).
I caught COVID and took care of my whole family while I was sick, but I ended up gaining 3kg while they lost weight because they had COVID...
I have gained more than 10kg since before COVID-19ㅠ
I have been getting tests at the hospital every 3 to 4 months and monitoring the numbers, but they haven't improved or worsened; it's just continuing as it is.
The main medication for hypothyroidism, Synthroid, is also being continuously taken.
Sinciroide plays a role in supplying the thyroid hormones that the body lacks, so I can't stop taking it.
I found out about this illness around the time my older child was born, and now that child has joined the military.
I think I'm just now getting used to it.
Despite my efforts, I keep gaining weight (even a little rest really makes me gain moreㅠ), and the stress is intense, but now I just accept it and go on.
Doctor, they say stress is the biggest cause, but in today's world, how many people live in a flower garden all around?
Just like now, I try to exercise various ways diligently and eat well. They say a dead ghost looks good, so I'm trying to enjoy delicious food without stress.
My hypothyroidism is still ongoing.
