There was a time when I often caught a slight cough from turning on the air conditioner and feeling the cold air, especially during these days with significant temperature fluctuations.
In those cases, trying ginger tea or quince tea only works for that moment.
Then I went on a trip to Vietnam and visited a shopping center, and I found out that honey and cinnamon are famous in Vietnam.
They say that mixing a spoonful of cinnamon powder with honey and taking one spoonful a day helps improve coughs.
Back then, it just seemed like an advertisement, so I didn't buy the product.
I had cinnamon powder and honey at home, so I thought of mixing them and trying it, and it tasted pretty good.
Since I had nothing to lose, I took a spoonful in the morning and evening for a few days, and surprisingly, my lingering cough seemed to decrease, and my throat hurt less.
So even now, I occasionally remember and keep cinnamon powder soaked in honey, and I eat it from time to time.
Since it's not medication, it doesn't cause much burden or resistance.
I think it would be good for people with sore throats or those who have jobs that require talking a lot to try it.
