[Concern] Has anyone had shingles on their finger??

My mother is 79 years old, and she has never had shingles nor has she received the vaccine yet.

Over the weekend, I suddenly felt pain in my thumb, like a splinter or a cut, so I looked at it, but there was no wound.

Is it like a slight blister? It was slightly bumpy and raised.

I didn't think about it at the time;; I just thought it was allergy symptoms and applied ointment first.

Today, there is no pain in the thumb, but there is pain in the index finger. Upon inspection, I see that the index finger has bumps similar to the thumb, protruding in a bumpy manner.

It's colorless and so finely textured that with presbyopic eyes, it's hard to see.

If you look closely, it definitely has a bumpy, uneven appearance. It looks like a blister, but maybe not;;

I haven't had shingles before;; I can't tell if this is shingles or not.

The pain is less than when the thumb hurts again, and the thumb also says there is no pain after just one day;;;;

Most shingles are thought to occur on the back or similar areas, but after checking online, I found out it can also occur on the fingers.

I'm suddenly scared.

It's so small that it doesn't show up in photos either, so I can't even show it to you;;;

Is it possible for the area affected by shingles to become painless within a day?

If this is shingles, which department should I go to? Dermatology? Or is it okay to first go to internal medicine in case of an emergency???

If you get shingles, will it all go away and should you get vaccinated???

Will the vaccine be effective if administered while infected?

Even though you're worried about shingles, you strongly avoid getting the vaccine;;;

I'm so worried;;;

Or could it be that it's not shingles but also that contact dermatitis causes similar raised bumps?

It feels like a slight shedding of old layers.

It's summer, so it's humid, and I've been handling water a lot these days...

If anyone has experienced shingles, please help~~ I was worried and couldn't sleep last night;;;

    어머님이 다리쪽으로 오셔서 병원 다니셨다고 하시네요.  우선 피부과 다녀오시는게 낫겠어요.

    저는 오른쪽 목에 걸렸었어요.
    만약 대상포진이면 초기에 빨리 병원가서 치료 하시는 게 필요해요.
    저는 1주일 약먹고 나았어요.

    대상포진은  신체 어느곳에든지 발생할수 있어요. 초기 대응이 중요한 만큼 먼저 병원 진료를 받아보시는게 좋을듯 해요.
    저는 3년 전에 눈으로 대상포진이 왔었어요. 일반 안과에서는  눈병이라고 해서 계속 눈병치료만 하다가 호전이 되지 않아 대학병원에서 검사했는데  대상포진이라고  잘못하면 시력을 잃을수도 있다는 소리까지 들었었답니다.  2주간 입원 치료를 하면서  머리에 대상포진이 오신분도 봤었어요. 대상포진이 우리가 알고 있는 형태로만 오는게 아니더라구요. 다행이  시력저하가 심해져서 결국 안경도 끼게 되었지만 시력을 잃지 않은것에 감사해야죠.
    뭐든지 조기치료가 빨리 이루어져야 고생을 하지 않더라구요.
    그리고  2~3달전에  KBS1  생노병사에서  대상포진을 다룬적이 있었어요.  정말 놀랍고도 무서운 병이더라구요. 시간 되실때 시청해 보시면 많은 도움이 되실거예요.
