My blood sugar management method~ (including exercise)
I am frequently measuring my blood sugar levels because I am on the borderline of diabetes. I mainly check fasting blood sugar in the morning and blood sugar two hours after meals.
The blood glucose meter I use is the GluNeo Plus. The reason I use this is that after using the blood glucose test strip, instead of removing it with my hand, I can press something like a button to slide it down into the trash can~~^^ No need to touch my skin.
It looks like this~~~ The numbers are accurate, and the letters are large, so I really like it. These days, I'm experiencing presbyopia~
Since my post-meal blood sugar is high, I chose indoor cycling as an exercise besides walking. Doing it for about an hour after a meal helps significantly reduce blood sugar levels.
Finally, eating mixed grain rice. White rice causes a much higher spike in blood sugar. Prepare rice in advance, freeze it, and then microwave it each time you want to eat.
I'm currently taking medication for high blood pressure and high cholesterol, so I'm also prone to diabetes, and I've been paying close attention to it these days. It's something I need to work on every day, so it has become almost a daily routine.
