[Concern] Vocal cord paralysis after thyroid surgery
It's been about a month since I had thyroid surgery.
It is almost in stage 0, with no lymph node metastasis, so only partial resection was performed.
I thought I was lucky, but vocal cord paralysis has occurred.
Initially, it was difficult to breathe and I kept choking, making it hard to eat. After about a month, the choking lessened and eating improved significantly, but today I still feel a foreign body sensation while eating, my voice is not good, and I have been coughing a lot. The attending doctor said that adhesions would continue to worsen for up to three months, but I can't help feeling anxious.
I'm worried whether it will get better after just three months, so I decided to post this.
