I get short of breath and have difficulty breathing even with just a little movement, so I tend to breathe faster and feel more exhausted than others. That's why I started walking and hiking.

There are several reasons why you might feel short of breath~ It could be because you've been staying at home all summer and are now moving around after a long time, or it could be due to aging and muscle loss, which weakens the respiratory muscles! To reduce shortness of breath and panting even during minor daily activities, and to maintain lung health, it is important to strengthen the respiratory muscles and increase lung capacity!
Today, easy practices that can be easily implemented in daily life

✅️ Growing indoor plants & using air purifiers
Growing indoor plants can improve indoor air quality, and since indoor plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen, they help reduce accumulated ozone indoors, making it beneficial to keep indoor plants.
It's also good to use an air purifier along with indoor plants like Sansevieria and Tradescantia.
When placing, avoid putting objects within 50 meters around and do not block the air outlet to enhance effectiveness!
Sunshine and vitamin D supplementation
Did you know that the vitamin D produced when exposed to sunlight improves lung health?
Vitamin D can be obtained not only from sunlight but also through fish such as salmon and mackerel, and it can also be consumed through milk and cheese.
Sunshine should be enjoyed moderately for about 20 minutes between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Take deep breaths frequently
Actually, this method is the most important!
Taking deep breaths uses all the functions of the lungs, so frequently practicing in a place with clean air is good for improving lung function~
When taking a deep breath, breathe in slowly until your chest is fully expanded, and when exhaling, breathe out slowly while feeling your diaphragm descend as much as possible.
I was taking shallow breaths and resting little by little, which made it harder to breathe deeply, so I intentionally and consciously practiced breathing exercises regularly to improve my breathing habits healthily.
✅️ Swimming or a light 30-minute walk
Swimming is the best exercise to increase lung capacity and cardiovascular endurance, and it healthyly strengthens the lungs without putting a lot of stress on the joints~

But I am afraid of water, so swimming is difficult. I chose to walk lightly for about 30 minutes to 2 hours. While walking, taking deep breaths and inhaling the air strengthens the cardiopulmonary muscles~
It is good to exercise consistently about 2 to 3 times a week, and I am doing it steadily.
At first, it was difficult, I got tired quickly, and I finished easily!! These days, I sometimes walk 20,000 steps, and my cardiovascular endurance and breathing techniques have improved a lot, so I don't get tired easily or get out of breath. I'm exercising and going about my daily life in good condition!
