They are just eating grass or protein and claiming that their blood sugar was good today without any effort. I can't speak properly. Diabetes is not a matter of weight; it's a matter of muscle mass. Consuming carbohydrates in moderation, avoiding overeating, exercising vigorously—these are the ways to preserve or increase muscle mass and burn fat. Simply losing weight does not eliminate diabetes. If you only lose weight without proper nutrition, muscle mass will be lost, insulin storage will disappear, and eventually, even eating a little will cause blood sugar to spike, leading to irreversible diabetes. Many people don't realize this. They get blood tests done regularly, sometimes can't even eat one ramen, and when they do, their blood sugar jumps over 200, then they regret it. They don't exercise and just eat expensive, gold-topped bread worth a few thousand won, bragging about good blood sugar levels—that's not how a person should live. Eating well may cause blood sugar to rise temporarily, but if you eat properly and exercise diligently, muscle will develop, and in the long run, you can heal diabetes and become a normal person whose blood sugar doesn't spike severely no matter what they eat. You probably won't get any sympathy or comments for this kind of post because those people don't believe what I say. Type 1 diabetes is unavoidable, but type 2 is possible. |
