Reviews of preventing hyperlipidemia through improved eating habits, exercise, and lifestyle
I've seen my relative struggle with hyperlipidemia, which is a condition characterized by higher than normal levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. When I went to the hospital, the doctor advised me to be careful. So, I'm working hard to prevent hyperlipidemia by focusing on my diet, exercise, and lifestyle.
First, the first thing I did to prevent hyperlipidemia was to reduce saturated and trans fats in my diet. Instead of butter, margarine, fried foods, fast food, and fatty meats like pork belly, I ate lean meats, chicken breast, and fish. To increase my intake of good fats, I ate blue-backed mackerel and salmon, which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, and regularly consumed nuts like almonds and walnuts. Also, to prevent hyperlipidemia, I ate whole grains instead of white rice, white bread, sugar, and beverages. I also added oats, barley, and brown rice to my rice to increase my intake of healthy fiber, all of which contributed to the prevention of hyperlipidemia.
Second, to prevent hyperlipidemia, I engaged in aerobic exercise, such as walking or jogging, for at least 30 minutes, five times a week. Since inactivity can lower good cholesterol and raise triglycerides, I also engaged in strength training. By consistently exercising daily, I saw positive changes in my triglyceride levels.
Third, I took nutritional supplements to help prevent hyperlipidemia. I took Omega Circuten, which contains omega-3 fatty acids, which are said to improve blood triglycerides and blood circulation. Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that can help reduce high blood pressure, and red yeast rice is said to help improve blood cholesterol, so it was overall good for preventing hyperlipidemia. I also took Now Foods Psyllium Husk 700mg, which contains soluble fiber that inhibits cholesterol absorption in the intestines and helps control blood sugar, so I continued to take it.
And to prevent hyperlipidemia, I quit smoking and drinking, and I was especially careful about alcohol because it causes a rapid increase in neutral fat.
