Review of hospital examination and prescription for anemia treatment
Some of you may be concerned about anemia treatment. I visited a hospital, received a prescription, and took iron supplements for about six months. My symptoms significantly improved, and my iron levels normalized. I'd like to share my anemia treatment process with you, hoping it will be helpful to those interested in it.
I had a health checkup at the end of last year, and my hemoglobin level was extremely low. It was below 10, requiring anemia treatment. Normal hemoglobin levels for women should be between 12 and 15, but mine were extremely low. Before treatment, my symptoms included extremely cold hands and feet, worse than cold hands and feet, which turned white and ice-cold. I also experienced severe hair loss. I also suffered from orthostatic hypotension, which caused some dizziness. I just assumed it was due to poor health or a weakened immune system. But when the test results came back showing anemia, I became worried. Low hemoglobin levels reduce red blood cell production, leading to increased destruction and bleeding, which interferes with the proper transport of oxygen to tissues. Iron, vitamin, and folic acid deficiencies, along with excessive bleeding, can also cause low hemoglobin levels. Women, especially those with monthly menstrual periods, should regularly monitor their hemoglobin levels. I had low hemoglobin levels, but my iron and ferritin levels were also very low, so I took the medication prescribed for anemia for over six months. After taking the medication, my hemoglobin levels returned to normal. To treat anemia, you need to increase your hemoglobin levels, and I was told that eating foods high in iron is helpful, so I tried to consistently eat beef, seaweed, green vegetables, milk, and eggs. Women might have considered anemia treatment at least once, so it would be good to manage it consistently through health checkups.
