I always experience cold hands and feet.
What is Raynaud's phenomenon?
The symptom is cold hands and feet. I heard it occurs more frequently in women.
There are two types of Raynaud's phenomenon even within the same condition.
In my case, I tend to feel cold not only in my hands and feet but all over my body.
In the case of my younger sibling, their hands and feet are cold, but their body feels hot.
So, I'm wearing shorts and sleeping socks!
The reason for this difference is because the causes are different.
People like me, whose entire body's temperature drops and hands and feet become cold, have weak "kidneys."
A person whose hands and feet are cold but their body is hot has a weak heart, which prevents heat from dispersing throughout the body.
The heart's pumping ability is insufficient, so the heat cannot spread throughout the body.
Therefore, the solutions are also different.
So, for someone like me with weak kidneys, it is important to keep the body warm.
Eating garlic, ginseng, and red ginseng is good.
A representative dish would be samgyetang.
In cases of weak hearts, you should take things that help disperse heat.
Conversely, foods that warm the body should not be eaten. Ginseng, red ginseng, garlic NO NO
People like this are said to prefer fruit belly.
So, I start drinking a lot of jujube ginger tea from the fall season.
Ginger is also said to help warm the body.
If I explain how to make it simply,
1. Wash the jujubes (150g) and ginger (600g) thoroughly.
Remove the jujube seeds and julienne the ginger and jujubes.
Mix 600g of sugar with sliced jujubes and ginger.
4. Once the sugar dissolves, store it in sterilized glass bottles that have been boiled in hot water.
5. Jujube ginger syrup is stored at room temperature for about 15 days to mature, then kept refrigerated.
After making this, drinking one glass a day helped relieve the numbness in my hands and feet haha
And another tip is to wear toe socks.
Sleep socks or regular socks seem to keep me warm, but even inside them, my toes feel extremely cold.
So I bought it for yoga, and since I wear this, it keeps each toe warm, which makes it much better.
