NHS hospital visit review for early detection of colon cancer
From a certain moment, I started experiencing mild abdominal pain whenever I bent my waist. At first, I thought it was just muscle pain and tried to endure it, but since I felt something was wrong and I was overseas at the time, I visited the nearest NHS hospital in the UK. After various tests, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I underwent multiple examinations and finally confirmed that I had colon cancer. However, I realized that it was a great relief to have discovered it early.
Regarding treatment options for colon cancer, it mainly includes chemotherapy and surgery, with personalized plans developed based on the individual's condition. However, my colon cancer treatment plan started with a simple chemotherapy to reduce the tumor.
Even though early detection is important, colon cancer does not get cured overnight, so managing side effects such as nausea and diarrhea during the treatment process was also very important. During this period, I was prescribed ranitidine to help manage colon cancer and gastrointestinal discomfort caused by the treatment. The pain was severe, but I was truly grateful to have a way to eat safely.
After several months of treatment like this, I received news that the tumor is responding well, and they said it will go well if I continue like this. Above all, I truly feel fortunate that I was able to receive treatment so easily.
Through my experience with colon cancer, I have come to realize the importance of regular check-ups and early detection. If colon cancer is detected early, treatment is possible, so be sure to get health screenings.
