I have been getting health check-ups at Chung-Ang University Hospital continuously~
I use Chung-Ang University Hospital every two years when I get a health check-up.
It's close to my house, but the transportation options are uncertain, so I have the inconvenience of having to transfer cars multiple times.
However, Jungdae Hospital has a shuttle bus, so I can really conveniently go to the hospital from my house.
Especially since my mom has trouble with her legs, it wasn't easy for her to use the hospital, but thanks to the Jungdae Hospital shuttle, she can use it without difficulty.
As expected of a university hospital, the facilities are clean and excellent, so there's no need for an explanation.
You can easily make appointment reservations or check-up bookings on the website, and since they send reminder notifications via text message, even I, who am prone to forgetfulness, can receive treatment on time without forgetting. ^^
The medical staff and nurses are also very kind, so when I mentioned that another place wasn't good, they immediately scheduled an appointment with a different department for me... As expected, this is why general hospitals are so great~~
Because we can share symptoms of illness and collaborate~~
A few years ago, I underwent an endoscopy during a health checkup, and at the suggestion of the medical staff, I became a subject in the Helicobacter pylori research team's experiment (lol).
Anyway, I became the test subject for the research data of that study.
Every two years, I undergo an endoscopy to check for Helicobacter pylori infection, and I wonder if having Helicobacter pylori affects stomach cancer. This is the kind of research they are doing... (I am a carrier of Helicobacter pylori but couldn't take antibiotics due to severe side effects;;)
There's nothing specific I need to do, and the results of the gastroscopy during health checkups are used for research.
Still, I feel good because I think I'm doing something to advance medical care.
Moreover~~ when you go for a check-up, they will give you 20,000 won for transportation expenses haha (Yay~ great deal!!)
I always feel anxious when going for a health check-up, but the research team members always come out to greet me warmly and kindly provide consultation~
Feeling reassured just knowing I have someone I know at the hospital!!
I didn't hear the explanation clearly, but I heard that if I happen to have stomach cancer, I can receive medical expense support~~
Because of my genetic background, many family members have had stomach cancer, and even now, my stomach condition is not good due to gastritis or gastric ulcers.
I think it was a good choice just in case...
Of course, not getting infected is the best!!!
One of the greatest advantages of living in Seoul is the medical facilities, and among them, having a large university hospital nearby is truly an incredible benefit~~
